| To look into the
Zebra Mussel infestation problem, Bill King, a resident of the
lake, agreed to chair a committee to study this problem. When
the first infestations were noted, it was assumed they would
grow and consume anything and everything they came across. In
some areas of the lake, owners feel the populations have
significantly reduced. One side benefit is that a single Zebra
Mussel will filter a quart of water in a day. They do help
purify the lake water . |
