The Inland Cat
Lake George has an active fleet of over 25 Inland Cats.
Every Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day the fleet races at 2:30PM.
Off-lake Inland Cats are welcome to join. In addition, There are monthly
"Beer Can" races held during the summer. The season
terminates with an awards banquet at the end of the summer. If you enjoy
sailboat racing, this event is a wonderful opportunity to race in a one-design
scenario.

Kick Off the season with the launching of the raft on Sunday May 25th at 9:00 AM. If you are storing any equipment for the raft, please bring it with you. The Shake Down Race is the following Saturday, May 31 and then it's "let the competition begin" with the first race on June 7. PARTIES: The Lake George Conservancy is having their annual fund raiser on the evening of June 28 so there will be no party that weekend. You are encouraged to support the Conservancy in its efforts to protect Lake George. The following weekend is the 4th of July weekend so there will be no party that weekend. This means there will be no party for two weekends in a row which will make communications difficult. Check the web site for information (on this page or use the EVENTS button on the home page. Regatta is scheduled for July 26 and 27. There are many other fun events planned so be sure to check the schedule included in the mailing.
